“Focusing on kindness and approachability, I create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions. Therapy can be challenging, but it’s crucial for growth. I incorporate a healthy dose of humor and fun, along with other techniques—to make sessions enjoyable, engaging, and tailored to you.”

-Nixzaliz “Nisy” Rojas Pridgen

I have extensive experience with diverse clients in various settings. My journey with couples began with specialized training at the Ackerman Institute for Family at the Roberto Clemente Center in NY. I further honed my clinical skills through peer support and consultation at the group private practice Footprint NJ, LLC. in Jersey City, NJ.

As a married woman with two children, I understand the complexities of relationships. I’ve worked with couples at all stages, from premarital to those facing significant marital difficulties.

Beyond couples, I’ve supported adults struggling with mental health, family challenges, and finding a sense of purpose. My career started in 2007 as an early childhood educator. In 2010, I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, deepening my passion for family dynamics and mental health.

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions. I believe in using creativity and interactive techniques to make therapy engaging and tailored to individual needs. When I say, "Let’s work on getting better and not just feeling better," it's more than a catchy phrase—it's a genuine goal for every session.
